important dp news

this morning i spotted the male "rideing" the largest female around the tank and keeping her as close as possible were ever she went hes been doing it all day even during feeding is this breeding behavior??

possibly, are there rituals or rivalry at work? does the male show enhanced color or behave in an over protective way? if he is protecting the female or a certain area of the tank then its possible he is in the mood to breed. if not, he might just be pressing to attack, though i doubt that

it seems from the dp forum that he is they both dissapired into a little cave after 4 hours of being together and once they came out they went back to "my patch your patch" ill hoover out the cave tommorow with an airline tube to see
