haha I deal with a lot of rescue groups and I take in a few..but 4 are perm members of the pack...a 13 year old JRT is the most recent addition who was going to be put down because she was 'to old'. You'd never know she was 13.

My 7 year old terrier mix, I rescued off a reservation with his sister who I adopted out.

My little year and a half old terrier mix who I got when she was 4 weeks, someone just threw her in a parking lot one day ....

The forth addition is a 9 year old shepard mix who weighs about 110 pounds and is the biggest cuddle bug haha..

I'm trying to contain myself from potentially adopting a great dane but...its sooo tempting when you know of several rescues and reputable breeders who are taking back pups that were neglected or that the owners don't want anymore.

*sighs*..haha how about you?

i live in a condo so i can't have more then 1 dog.mines a spitz i got him when he was still feeding on milk and could hardly walk.i bottled fed him.he's now going to be 6 years old and weighs as heavy as i do.he sleeps on my bed and sits on the couch just like me bu he hates bath time lol just pick up a towel and walk to the bathroom and he'll go running even without me calling out for him. he's spoiled.
i know the feeling of wanting the dane and yet unsure if it will go well. in my case it wouldn't but in your case if you could handle all the workload of the other 4 dogs and have the stamina for this one. go for it.
guess what.next Sunday i'm bringing home a Labrador pup for my aunt.i'm so exited even though i don't get to keep him
