ok i plan on getting 3 dwarf puffers for one of my 10gallons except i keep getting mixed messages on it being fully freshwater or it requiring brackish water.. my question is, is this fish infact a 100% freshwater fish and will freshwater be the best enviroment for them? i ofcourse want only the best for my fish :D
Dwarf puffers are freshwater. PURE freshwater. The only reason people mix this up is that sometimes different fishes are sold as dwarfs.
This site is your ultimate (and only necessary) resource. Mind the nice forum, it's somewhat hidden. http://www.dwarfpuffers.com/
Let me know how it is going. I'm considering a dwarf puffer for my 5.5 gallon mossbreeder. I theoretically could squeeze two in there (heavy planting), but I hear they get even nastier as they get older.
