daisy - i found this:

There are slight differences in the markings between sexes but available details may vary amd in some cases may not reperesent gender differences. Males may show a brownish line on their stomacj from the "throat" through to the anal fin. Females are generally rounder in body shape. These differences will probably not be apparent in juveniles."

sorry i cant help with the wrinkley eyes, but hopefully this will be of some help to you

sexing dp's

Hi

DP's are amongst the easiest of the puffs to sex correctly, you won't get many clues until they reach around 6 months, males will develop the brown line which runs from under the bottom jaw the length of the belly, also the "wrinkles" develop behind the eye and are very discernable.

FYI, I am very new to this particular site, looks pretty cool to me and I aim to contribute, however there are a couple of specialist puffer sites out there, guess it would not be etiquette to post details here but they are not hard to find !!
