Does anybody know about ropefish?

Hi, I recently saw an african ropefish at my LFS and was wondering how big do they get, what size tank do they need, what would be good water perimeters, how many should/could I keep, and if they're compatible with any of these fish-Angels, silver hatchets, twig cat, clown pleco, rummynose tetras, and/or pepper cories. (It probably won't be in a tank with rummys) Thanks.

They grow fairly large - over a foot long, and are a group oriented fish. They spend daylight hours together in a "nest", and come out at night to feed. A 90 gallon would be a minimum. Good water parameters are 0 ammonia and 0 nitrites :) Tank mates have to be too big to eat. A 90 would make a nice african biotope tank, with the rope fish, congo tetras, a spotted ctenopoma, an african knife and some african butterflies.

125 - BGK, chanchito cichlid, pictus cats, silver dollars, palmas bichir
125 - cichlids (severums, bolivian rams, chocolate), rainbows ( turquoise, red), loaches (angelicus, zebra, kuhli and horseface), plecos (BN, RL and clown), denison barbs, tiretrack eel, pearl gouramis, betta
90 - Congo tetras, african knife, upside down cats, spotted ctenopoma, kribensis, delhezzi bichir
2.5 - betta

I have one and I would say it needs a 4 foot tank, at least 55 gallon. I have mine in a 55 but I wish it was in a 125 gallon, or at least a 75 gallon. I keep mine with a 7 inch Senegal Bichir and a 5 inch Black Ghost Knife. Most of the time he is laying at the bottom sleeping but sometimes he gets active and is a very cool fish to watch!

Mine is probably 10 inches long, I bought him at the LFS for $15 when he was 9 inches, what a steal!
I don't think they get a lot bigger than 10 inches, maybe 12-14 tops.
