Centipede Knifefish, should I buy him?

My lfs just got a Centipede Knifefish and I really like him and I read up on them and they only get 8 inches, won't each small fish, and each bloodworms and brineshrimp. I am planning on putting him with my discus, dwarf cichlids and corys. What do you guys think? I have 2 days until they put him up for sale.

what kind of chilids are you keeping as they require good hiding places and will not do well with aggressive tank mates. The long, pointed tail just looks too appetizing to anything that's the least bit aggressive. They are sensitive to some fish medications such as copper and those containing formalin.the temp should be 74 - 82 F (23 - 28C) and pH 6 6.5

The cichlids in the tank are 2 electric Blue Rams and 3 Apistogramma cacatuoides. Temp in my tank is 84 and ph is 6.3. Tank size is 75 gallon
