Unhappy The bass

I caught a bass(about 3'' at the time) with a casting net and I put him with some small gold fish in a 5gal.Two days later I took out the gold fish and moved the tank to my room.I got I crab and put it in with the bass. Then I see the tank is leaking so I take them out and put them in a cooler. I mend the tank and put it back in my room. I have had him for a month now and he has grown to about 6''. Today I when't to our dam and set him free. I loved him so much. Now his tank is growing up some guppy and sward tail fry.

Kudos for doing the ultimately right thing and letting him go.

Someone will get real pleasure catching him once he fattens up nicely. Although you will probably never know it...think of it being that trophy catch that some kid or adult alike will remember for the rest of their life.

Even though it is freshwater...plenty more fish in the sea to help along

10g Fry / Hospital / QT tank (as needed)

75g Saltwater Reef, Ocellaris Clownfish, Lyretail Antias (baby), Lemon damsel, Longtail Fairy Wrasse, purple dottyback, snails, crabs and a few LPS corals.

220g Still sitting empty (come on Lottery I need the numbers to come up!)
