could anyone give me some advice as i wanted a dwarf puffer but was told they need to be kept with there own kind and can not be put in a community tank
Hi Rogerlee. You are correct - dwarf puffers should not be kept in a community tank - they are very hostile to towards other species of fish, and although they are small, they can do a lot of damage.
They can be kept singly or in a species only setup, and the only other fish I know of that can be successfully kept alongside them are ottos.
thanks for the advice will stick with my community tank got more choice cheers anyway
