I'd put a pink betta in my planted holding tank to test my cycling, its good. He was weary from being in a cup for a long time, since hes been swimming into the current, diving down then swimming up quickly. Now that hes all buffed up hes blown the thickest foamiest nest i've ever seen, yes he'll be quite the stud oneday. There is little surface movement and it is so perfect for breeding i hate to take him out i'm just praying he doesn't take it too hard and fight with the other fish where he'll be put with.

They have so much personality. They ARE a pleasure to watch and interact with. I love all of mine and each has his or her own personality.
