what to feed my climbing perch

Hi there. i have two of these neat fish. and they love brine shrimp but my guy at the lfs said not to feed them that too much as brine shrimp are a salt water food and they have too much salt on them and may shut down my perch's kidney's. And i'm pretty sure a climbing perch is also the same thing as a tenapoma (sp) mine are leopard tenapomas. so i cute up some earth worm YUK for them and i just couldn't get it small enough for my little one. My bigger one loved it. they are just babies still with the little "eye" on their tail. thanks.

Give bloodworms a shot. I was reading about Leopard Bushfish (Ctenopoma is the proper genus name) on a different site earlier today, and the consensus was that fresh or frozen bloodworms are a favorite of theirs. Blackworms work too. I'd try guppy fry if I had climbing perch, just because I always have a mess of them.

I'd quarantine the feeders for a couple weeks before offering them to my fish.
