Thinking about getting a fighter for my 5 gallon

I was at the LFS the other day and was browsing their fighter wall and found a couple of ones that I really liked. My cousin and I used to go by what would win and then just trash talk the other but now I realise that I should be going by what I like. The last fighter I had died a few months ago and he was a special fish to me. I want to get another fighter, but not sure whether should, need some urging.

Nudge nudge nudge :) There's nothing prettier than a gorgeous male betta in a tank so I say go for it!

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

If you need some encouragement go try looking at the pictures section of the betta forum. There are a lot of gorgeous fish over there *wink wink nudge nudge* I love bettas and will probably not go too long without one.
