Wooohhooo watch now, if I have 2 Kissing Gourami's and 3 Barbs and on TOP even a group of some 10 Cory ~ I may be border-lining overstocking my 55g there

Was thinking a group of 7-9 Cherry?

I keep all my barbs species in a close to even m/f split, with an extra female or two.

7-9 would be good. I'd probably do 12-15, more if they were the primary schooling fish in the tank.

125 - BGK, chanchito cichlid, pictus cats, silver dollars, palmas bichir
125 - cichlids (severums, bolivian rams, chocolate), rainbows ( turquoise, red), loaches (angelicus, zebra, kuhli and horseface), plecos (BN, RL and clown), denison barbs, tiretrack eel, pearl gouramis, betta
90 - Congo tetras, african knife, upside down cats, spotted ctenopoma, kribensis, delhezzi bichir
2.5 - betta
