I have a 5 gallon Edge planted with Java Fern and moss balls, and in it are a Bamboo Shrimp and a betta. My betta is getting old and I think is on his way out of this world. Would three sparkling gouramis be acceptable in this set up with the Bamboo Shrimp?
Acording to our fish profiles,"5 gallons for a group of 3 fish, but preferably larger with a group of 6 or more." The following is the link to the profile.
three fish will be fine in there if well planted w/ live plants. Be really cool if you could find some sparrow rasboras and throw a dozen of those in there with them. Make a great nano tank
Keep it to three sparklers only. They'll be absolutely fine there. The only problem is they are ridiculously short lived. I try to buy the smallest I can find assuming they may still be very young.
