Im pretty sure Bettas and Guppies cant breed together...
It very cool when this happens. which is rare I think for bettas. my albino catfish often guards the baby guppies in my tank. hes been around awhile and so has babysat for many batches.. hes outlived all my other fish. very healthy guy or girl.
