My Gouramis

So I have 2 Dwarf Orange/Blue ones, a bigger silver one, and 2 gold ones.

The silver one chases the gold ones alot, and the dwarfs are generally calm, yet one will chase the other and vise versa.

Also, I have a swordtail fish, who will chase a gouramis and like "bite" it? Like open its mouth and try to "bite" the gouramis belly? Am I right for thinking that?

Are any of these activities normal?

Thanks!

I've kept these fish before, it may be a territorial issue? how's the water conditions in the tank? Ph may be a problem -- I've only seen my tank become aggressive when PH is in a bad situation (currently mine is)

sword tails usually only chase females around, but they are territorial -- same with gouramis, except like all labyrinth breathers, they are only aggressive against their own kind.

My gouramis chase each other around like crazy, but wide open spaces they are more calm. how big is your tank? maybe you have too many gouramis for it. I barely have enough room for mine.
