Shouldnt be an issue. I have aways kept them with other community fish. They might opportunistically eat babies given the chance but they prefer to be a speck on the wall and hope no one notices them. With their adult coloration most people wont notice them. I have had one with a broken jaw for going on 7 years from my first planted tank. Eats anything, hasnt as far as I know eaten any of the Juv lamps that keep popping up in my parents tank. It has moved to my parents tank back at home and has survived fine though his once a year 100% water changes. Like I said though, they lose their cool white and black coloration when they get older and turn a dark olive greenish color with some mottled black spots and isnt very attractive. I love the fish though, with his broken jaw he has personality.
