No you can not have them together they will fight.

Kindest Regards,
Amanda

Keeping fish its not a hobby it is a passion!

55 gallon, 44 gallon, one 20 gallon tank, three 10 gallon tanks, and a 2.5 gallon all with real plants.

I have MTS and there is no cure.

Yes that is a better way to put it. They would fight just like two bettas together would.

How big is your tank? You could put community type fish in there if you like. I have a male and a female and have no proplems with them they use to be in a 20 gallon with neons and peacock gudgeons, now they are in the 55 gallon with these fish as well as golden barbs, 2 types of corys, harliguin rasbora and rosy red minnows.

Amanda is right. Check the profile of the Honey Gourami, it tells you about tank sizes and numbers.

I have 3 honey gouramis in my tank now. They dont fight each other at all. With enough plants and hiding spots they will be fine. They are abit shy some times.
