Help w/ Blue gourami please!!!

I have a blue and gold gourmai(one of each) i've noticed that my blue has become somewhat territorial and has started fin nipping at the gold one. i'm worried that he might try it on some of my other fish but as of now i haven't seen him go after any, just the gold guy. i've heard that blues are more aggressive than any others.

would it be best to add another gourmai or two? or should i just return him and replace him?

No, return both the blue and gold gouramis. No replacement is needed. Your tank as your sig stated is already overcrowded. Furthermore, both are semi-aggressive and therefore should be avoided in small tanks especially if you intend to keep other gouramis. These are not also brackish water species along with several other fish except your dragon gobies. Do you have plans to shuffle your stocks and get more tanks? I'm doing this because I am concerned not only with the fish but you as well. This is just too much hassle to sort out.

If I were you, return the BGK, hillies and dragon gobies especially the blue and gold gouramis. You can keep the rest however with no issues.

i know about all the fish in my tank thank you, i know what is and isn't brackish but they all are doing just fine.

i think you rely too much on hearsay rather than what works. i will not be returing any fish other than the Blue Gourami and possibly the gold one. and i will be replacing them most likley with bolivian rams or kight gobies.

i do have plans for a bigger tank in the future, a 150 gallon when the fish get a little bigger. so there is no need for concern for me or my fish. the only concern i have is that you get your facts straight before you go telling people what to do with their entire tanks. you obiously don't know much and shouldn't be giving such strong suggestions.

in my experience the blues have so far been the least aggressive towards my community tank inhabitants. In your position I might return the gold gourami so that he might get a fighting chance back at the LFS. my two blues in my 110g stay at the surface and never bother anyone, though they occasionally and harmlessly chase each other from time to time.

im just saying what I would do. god forbid I give you advice that you would find overbearing and uninformed.

Why ask for help when after you got your answer you decided to pretty much verbally abuse him? If you even bothered to check the past advice he's given you'd know it was sound advice. He gave good honest advice, as opposed to what was probably the petstore owner's advice (lemme guess, you got em at Petco or Petsmart).

Look back on this when they start killing each other.

Patyouth, I offered you an advice to help you minimize your issues. For your information, you should have been more specific in your first post that you have plans to upgrade. Did you expect me to know your future plans when it wasn't posted at all? Furthermore, you shouldn't judge people that quick enough you also feel the need to criticize them.

How about you minimize your rude remarks towards other members? They are simply here to help you, not criticize you in any way. I have not criticized you once at all.
