Hi. I'm preparing a species tank for chocolate gouramis It will be planted and hopefullybreeding will occur within the tank itself .I have the CG's on order at 3 different stores ;however,he refuses them if they're too small so hes waiting for the fry to size up, but they're hard to come by and he loses the shipment. I'm still waiting patiently. I plan to use peat to soften and tint the wate and acid buffer .The fish store seems to want to use 7.0 water.I reminded him of the cichlid tanks ph and he agreed it wouldn't be much different to do. I think that people have so much difficulty raising them is because they try to alter thier natural habitat too drasticly, does anyone agree? I'm hoping someone will share thier experience and tips with me & everyone else. I can't find it anywhere, how many fry to a batch?
