I would definitely remove the gourami to a tank and heal him up. I do not believe that I would return him. If he's looking for an excuse for a new tank, he now has one.

55g should be fine for now unless it is crowded. The inhabitants may also start to pick on the injured fish. If so he may have to be moved again. If your uncle wants to set up a hsopital tank, I would recommend a tank at least 20g, biger if possoble. He may have to dispense meds and may not be able to do this in a community tank.

I have 2 pink giant gorami but they still small size. as small as an angelfish.
I put them in 3 1/2 feet tank not sure what gallon coz I only measure by feet.

is this ok for the gorami ???

can I add 2 of my angelfish that have the same size with them together??

thanks for answering.

Those are kissing gouramis and will still grow to 12 inches. I'd keep one in a 75 gallons minimum. Your tank won't be able to accommodate the fish long-term.
