Gender of Opaline Gourami

Okay so I have this little baby opaline gourami. It is less than two inches total length. I don't have any pictures, but it's dorsal fin is totally rounded. So, is it a female? Or at that size is it still a 50/50? Do they all have rounded dorsal fins when they're young?

I would say it's a female until the dorsal fin isn't rounded anymore.

No I mean that without a picture I'm not comfortable saying it's a female for sure. The fin is rounded which means it's a female, as you know. If it grows pointed then you know the fish was too small to sex. There are other indicators for more mature fish, but the fin shows first.

Ooh okay. Should I post a picture then?

If it is too small, then what size is not too small to sex?

If you could, a picture might be all it takes to know. I've never seen them for sale too small to sex, but it's possible.

Okay, I will post a picture...but I won't be able to until tomorrow. If it makes a difference at all, the dorsal fin is rounded, but it is kinda long....idk if that helps you make a guess until I post the picture...
