Colisa Lalia/Dwarf Gourami

hi everyone.
My question is........
can i just have a male on his own ?
or a couple of females and no male ?
as it seems to me that if i have a pair, and they spawn
then i have to remove the female.
I don't have another tank,so i would not be able to do this.
all i have is guppys(tones of fry)
and three corydoras.
The tank is a Jewl reckord 96,
thanks.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

Females are usually silver in color so Eddie is right about the less colorful or maybe drab.
IMO, they will readily spawn in your tank but expect several fry not to survive in a community as you have guppies. As long as your guppies are well-fed, they may not eat the fry.
Well-fed livebearers will usually not try to eat the fry. At least in my experience.

I'm ready for the pressure.
The drama and the pleasure!

I believe I can fly!
I believe I can touch the sky!
I think about it every night and day!
I stand in awe of my body.

i don't really want any fry,of any type tbh.
i agree that the females are drab in colour,so
i shall keep thinking.
