Bubbles?

So temp. I have my male betta in my .5 gallon tank. (going into 2 1/2 gallon tank) and i just checked on him, normally i have an air stone in with him, but currently i do not, and i noticed some bubbles scattered accross the top.... Is he making a bubble nest hoping for a female?

The bubbles scattered across the top may not be a bubblenest, but wait a day and see if he bunches them together. If it is a bubblenest they will be bunched together. Try putting a lid (with holes!) ovet the tank to keep the humidity in.

I only have 1 betta left, but he's a cool blue marble!

I did have a lid on it, and there were a few small bunches, but i moved him into the 2 1/2 gallon tank so he has more room
