Thanks for the tips and help Byron, I truly appreciate them. I have read the profiles but I had more specific questions which you helped answer :)

I'm still putting this together in my mind, I'm glad I'm researching gouramis because I thought they could live together happily. I kept them in a very bad condition years ago :<

I have been in contact with the lfs- I am checking to see where he gets his dwarf gouramis.
