Sup ppl I just recently bought 2 Gouramis and Ive noticed that one of them has been chasing the other into hiding...it lets the other one eat and doesnt bother any of the other fish. The victim Gourami will just be swimming around the the other guy will come up and I guess you can call it nibbling at it and then proceed to chase it around the tank. I talked to a fish store person and she said it might be b/c of mating issues but doesnt really know...anyone have an idea?
What species of gourami is this? Some gouramis are pretty darn territorial/aggressive with their own species, especially if you have two males. If you do have two males and they're one of those grumpy species, I'd suggest returning one and just keeping one of them in the tank.
qany chance of a pic so ppl can id them for male and female???....
