I like the way he has set things up and how he has covered for emergencies. There is no such thing as overkill if it works.

On the DC pumps. I appreciate your husband's advice. I work in the seismic industry and all of our serious motors use AC. One question though . . . does that apply to the small units we are using on our aquariums, especially as they inductive drive thus eliminating brushes?
