Originally launched back in March of 1997, based in a little place called "Geocities", Cathy's Homepage of Tropicalfishkeeping was only a few pages containing basic help info for all who would stick around a short while to read. When we became increasingly popular, I launched Tropicalfishkeeping.com and quickly became one of the web's first and BEST personal tropical fish keeping help sites.

As the years passed more and more hobbyists liked what they saw and asked for more content, even easier navigation and a few fun activities like electronic funny fish postcards and a messagin board for live help. For about 12 years I gave everyone the best free site I could...and losing count of visitors somewhere over 1 million plus; the site was virtually self sustaining.

Things changed when I decided to become a mom and unfortunatly the site was never maintained to keep up with the ever growing and evolving internet we know today. So, here we are...it's time to pass the site on to someone who will do good by the name I spent so many years nurturing.
